Malibu

Without a doubt, the old school American Gladiators were the best. They had the coolest names; such as: "Nitro, Viper, Laser" and the list continues. And of course, nothing can compare to the final event, The Eliminator. What made it really stand out, however, was that the characters were so engaging like Malibu. A massive, roided-out California surfer persona gave viewers something to laugh at and maybe a role model for others...
Now that the show has attempted to start again, I just don't have the same desire as before. Maybe the characters are just as big or intimidating, but something is just missing...I want to say its people like Malibu. Too bad he's soaking up those cosmic rays..
